This was a suspenseful， single parent， close proximity romance。 Both Salem and Jud have tragic pasts that weigh on them and make moving forward in their lives difficult， but they also have an instant chemistry。 Jud meets Salem when he comes upon her one night when her car has broken down in a storm。 Turns out her brother works for him， and soon after meeting， Salem starts working there as well。 Although I enjoyed the story there were pieces of it that were difficult to connect with。 I loved that This was a suspenseful， single parent， close proximity romance。 Both Salem and Jud have tragic pasts that weigh on them and make moving forward in their lives difficult， but they also have an instant chemistry。 Jud meets Salem when he comes upon her one night when her car has broken down in a storm。 Turns out her brother works for him， and soon after meeting， Salem starts working there as well。 Although I enjoyed the story there were pieces of it that were difficult to connect with。 I loved that I couldn't see the plot twist coming， took me by surprise which was great。 But there was another piece of it in there that I felt like should have been foreshadowed more throughout the story， especially since it was first person point of view。 。。。more

3。5 Stars Say It's Forever is the second book in Jackson's Redemption Hills series and can be read as a standalone， but I would still recommend reading these in order just to get a true understanding and better grasp on these brothers。The series title pretty much give readers an idea of what they are in for with these books。 Say It's Forever brings together two characters who have a jaded past that they are trying to move on from。The premise of this book held so much promise to be an amazing st 3。5 Stars Say It's Forever is the second book in Jackson's Redemption Hills series and can be read as a standalone， but I would still recommend reading these in order just to get a true understanding and better grasp on these brothers。The series title pretty much give readers an idea of what they are in for with these books。 Say It's Forever brings together two characters who have a jaded past that they are trying to move on from。The premise of this book held so much promise to be an amazing story。 And Jackson does a brilliant job building up the secret held by Salem and Jud's past。 However， I felt their actual coming together was just too rushed， especially with their own hesitancies to trust anyone again。Jackson writes her stories as prose poetry and for her， this works brilliantly。 She's the only author that I can read like this and still love the story and characters。 However， with this particular story， I think this style may have hurt the build up more than anything。 There was too much inner dialogue and not enough of actual romance between them – getting to know one another more than just the physical attraction。I have to applaud Jackson for writing a series that has a bit more grit than her other series and I am enjoying that aspect。 I still enjoyed reading this story， just was not a fan of the insta-love aspect of it。 I am a huge fan of Amy's and while this book wasn't one I enjoyed as much as others， I am still looking forward to the youngest brother's story。 。。。more

This is a wild ride indeed。 Jud is a delicious， hulking motorcycle man and Salem is beautiful， scared and feisty。 Turns out the two make an irresistible treat。 He vows to keep her safe but when their pasts finally collide， it’s an explosion。 So so good。 Love this series。

“Say it's forever “ is an instalust/ Instacrush/instalove type of story。 It starts great with the chemistry and the moments when they both give up on any past or thoughts and just live in the moment。 They both have to overcome a troubled past and the family and friends are there at all times to support and help each other。 I loved the interactions and even the interventions of some of these secondary characters and while I haven't read the first book in the series， I will definitely look it up。 “Say it's forever “ is an instalust/ Instacrush/instalove type of story。 It starts great with the chemistry and the moments when they both give up on any past or thoughts and just live in the moment。 They both have to overcome a troubled past and the family and friends are there at all times to support and help each other。 I loved the interactions and even the interventions of some of these secondary characters and while I haven't read the first book in the series， I will definitely look it up。 A few over the top moments or scenes for my liking， but overall the story is a nice single parent romance with a redeeming bad boy and interesting characters。 NetGalley arc 。。。more

Okay， I have a thing for single parent romances， and I'm not picky as to which main character is the single parent。 What I love about this particular trope is seeing how the main characters create their own family。 It's a whole different coming together as compared to two single， childless people。 A。L。 Jackson offers up two very unforgettable main characters in Jud and Salem。 Their back stories were undeniably heartrending， and they know all too well what it's like to entrust your heart to someo Okay， I have a thing for single parent romances， and I'm not picky as to which main character is the single parent。 What I love about this particular trope is seeing how the main characters create their own family。 It's a whole different coming together as compared to two single， childless people。 A。L。 Jackson offers up two very unforgettable main characters in Jud and Salem。 Their back stories were undeniably heartrending， and they know all too well what it's like to entrust your heart to someone else， only to have them break it without a backward glance。 They protect themselves from more hurt and disappointment， but when their paths cross in Redemption Hills and they become part of each other's lives， there's a protectiveness that one feels towards the other and vice-versa。 Then there's Juni， and goodness， not only does she have one of my all-time favorite names， but this little girl was extraordinary， and was such a light in this story that tackled some heavy and dark themes， plus had some twists and turns。 Having said that， Say It's Forever was a beautiful story of love and family， and life giving you that second chance to finally have both。 I'm giving this five stars。 Oh， and a word of advice？ Make sure to get the bonus epilogue。 It was the proverbial cherry on top of an already awesome sundae。 I had tears。 。。。more

I always look forward to AL Jackson’s stories。 And this one was another one。 A single parent romance， that is my jam 😊This couple hooked me in right from the start。 I couldn’t stop reading this story。 Jud was an amazing character。 I loved hero’s who think because of their past they are just not good enough to have a happily ever after。 But in the same breath they are protective and selfless and will do anything to protect the people they care about。Salem was fierce and she was a badass mom to he I always look forward to AL Jackson’s stories。 And this one was another one。 A single parent romance， that is my jam 😊This couple hooked me in right from the start。 I couldn’t stop reading this story。 Jud was an amazing character。 I loved hero’s who think because of their past they are just not good enough to have a happily ever after。 But in the same breath they are protective and selfless and will do anything to protect the people they care about。Salem was fierce and she was a badass mom to her daughter。 She had to be after what she has been through。 Her life was her daughter and she would do anything to protect her。 So meeting a stranger along the road she was shocked that she felt such a connection to Jud。 Their chemistry was off the charts and I absolutely adored how protective Jud was with these two。 Drama， suspense， romance， angst and so much more is what you will get when you pick up this story。 And for me bonus， single parent。 Loved every minute of it。 This was another awesome read for me by this author and I am already anxious for the next read in this series。 Now I don’t know who my favorite is anymore… Jud or Trent 😊Read on behalf ofFay’s Corner 。。。more
